Two weeks ago, we were back on campus for the annual Columbia Alumni Leaders Weekend. Over the three days, 800 alumni leaders from around the world gathered to learn, exchange ideas, and come together to better serve the more than 350,000 Columbia global alumni. President Lee C. Bollinger ’71LAW addressed and took questions from the attendees on the current and future state of Columbia, Erika Irish Brown ’98BUS, chief diversity officer at Goldman Sachs, spoke to us about an inclusive workplace, and the Vice President for Alumni Relations and President of the CAA, Donna MacPhee ’89CC inspired us all as she shared highlights of what alumni are doing. CUCL proudly walked away with an award for the Most Engaging Communications—an accolade with which we hope you agree!
It’s also that time of year for our Autumn Survey where CUCL members get to let us know how we’re doing and what to plan for the next year. For every member that completes the survey, you’ll be entered to win some great prizes, picked up on campus in the bookstore while in New York. We had great response last year, and hope for even better this time around. Click HERE to share your thoughts.
But before we get to 2019, we have to finish off 2018… and we’re not slowing down.
This Wednesday is Giving Day, when Columbians from around the world stand together to support students, faculty, research, and ideas that will change the world (more below). You can also join us that evening for our Urban Property Development and the Future of the Workplace event.
Looking forward to November, we have more Tennis, Columbia Connects and the next CVC event. And don’t forget about our biggest celebration of the year, our Holiday Party on December 5th.
As always, more is in the works, so stay tuned and check our webpage and be sure to follow us on facebook and instagram.
