You are invited to an exclusive tour of the new V&A Museum in Dundee, led by our own Maurizio Mucciola (GSAPP ‘07). Maurizio is a director at PiM.studio Architects and was the project architect in charge of delivering the revolutionary building, which has already won a number of prizes for its innovative design and stunning form.
Maurizio will take us on a guided tour of the interiors and exteriors of the building, offering us a unique insight into the construction and design process. Afterward, you will also have a chance to explore the museum's permanent collection of Scottish Design as part of a private tour.
After the architectural tour we have arranged for lunch at The Tatha Bar & Kitchen, including 2 course or 3 course options that is included in the price of your booking.
While we encourage you to make a weekend of it (the magical castle and stunning medieval town centre of Edinburgh are just over an hour’s train ride away), all the tours will be organized on the Saturday, so that those who wish to come up for the day only can do so.
We are also aiming to organize a dinner for alumni based in Scotland and those coming up for the tour on the Saturday evening — Join us in bringing the CUCL vibe up North! Please RSVP HERE for dinner.
