Message of Concern to Our Community + October Event

In these difficult and heartbreaking times, we find ourselves grappling with deep sorrow and disbelief, overwhelmed by the distressing news and images emerging from Israel and Gaza. We are closely following the situation with unwavering concern and care, and thinking of our Columbia affiliates with ties to the region.

President Minouche Shafik has shared a heartfelt message, along with valuable resources and support links, which we encourage you to explore HERE and HERE.

To echo the sentiment of President Shafik, Columbia University is a global institution, and its alumni are no strangers to grappling with challenging and complex issues that shake our world. We believe in the power of education, the light of understanding, and the strength of unity. We reject any attempts to divide us and instead choose to embody a spirit of respect and compassion for all.

Sincerely,

The Board of Columbia University Club of London
