Stephen Elms has built a diverse career in design and management over the last two decades. After amassing an impressive list of backstage production credits on Broadway, marketing and ad campaigns in New York City and London, Stephen focused his attention on user experience (UX) and human-centered design.

Building on the in-house experience at Disney Theatrical Productions, Blue Man Group, and Feast Creative—where he executed strategies for social networking initiatives, multimedia marketing, website design, and product management—he has accumulated a range of skills that enable a unique perspective to his projects.

Currently, based in London, England, Stephen works with an eclectic clientele as a consultant spanning public and private industries. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Columbia University Club of London (CUCL) alumni association with over 5,000 members. He is also an active member with the London chapters of Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) and the Interaction Design Association (IxDA).

Stephen holds a B.F.A. from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, an M.F.A. from Columbia University in the City of New York. In the summer of 2019 he completed a MicroMasters with the University of Michigan’s School of Information on User Experience (UX) Research and Design.
