Step Out for a Night of Culture with Columbia Alumni

Tired of sitting at home scrolling for something to stream? Ready to reconnect with your creative side and take advantage of the culture London has to offer? This month, we are delighted to highlight two special evenings celebrating the arts—each hosted by members of our own alumni community and offering a unique opportunity to engage with the creative world. Tickets are limited for both, so be sure to secure your spot while they last.

First, step into the world of Impressionism with A Mirrored Monet, the new musical by Carmel Owen ’99SOA P: ’00GS, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe and now making its London debut. With a limited block of discounted tickets reserved for CUCL, alumni are invited not only to experience the performance but also to join Carmel for drinks and conversation afterward.

Later in the month, Public Gallery Director Nicole Estilo Kaiser ’20CC will host an evening exploring the world of contemporary art, collecting, and patronage. Sponsored by Columbia College Women and CUCL, the event brings together leading voices in the arts to share insights on discovering new work and supporting emerging artists.

Whether your interests lie in theatre, painting, or the contemporary art scene, these events offer rare opportunities to connect with fellow alumni while celebrating the creative achievements of our community.

Looking ahead, we’ll continue the momentum with our next Columbia Alumni Global Sustainability Network (CAGSN) event on April 21, followed by a CUCL happy hour planned for mid-May. We hope you’ll join us for one (or several) of the events ahead.
