Make the Most of Summer: Catch Up with Alumni at BST Hyde Park

We kicked off May in style with a truly memorable afternoon featuring Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz, one of the most influential voices in contemporary economic thought. His talk on inequality, sustainability, and the global economy sparked a thoughtful and lively discussion among London alumni—and reminded us just how powerful our community can be when ideas and people come together.

We’re also thrilled to celebrate one of our own: Courtney Cesari ’04CC has been awarded the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) Alumni Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the CAA. A dedicated leader of the Columbia University Club of London since 2016 and Club President from 2018 to 2022, Courtney helped guide CUCL to recognition as the International Club of Distinction. She has also represented us globally as a CAA Board member since 2020. Courtney and her fellow medalists were honored at University Commencement last month—congratulations, Courtney, and thank you for your outstanding service!

Earlier this week, we had a blast hosting the US Alumni happy hour at Passyunk Ave, Waterloo—and up next is our summer evening social in Hyde Park. Full event details and RSVP link below—we hope to see you there!
