Celebrate Summer at BST Hyde Park

If you haven’t yet joined us for Open House at British Summer Time Hyde Park, now’s your chance. It’s one of the best free summer events in London—and has become our most popular annual alumni gathering.

Break up the midweek grind and make the most of London’s long summer evenings with Columbia and the wider US Alumni Club community. Whether you're up for a midweek unwind or just fancy catching up with familiar faces, this relaxed gathering is the perfect excuse to be outside and off-screen.

Pop by after work, bring a friend, or make it a family outing—there’s plenty of space for kids to run around before settling in for the movie. This year’s film? The first in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (aka the Sorcerer's Stone) (2001) (PG), starting at 19:00.

With pop-up bars, global street food, and live music in the air, it’s the ideal way to soak up summer in the city. Stay for the evening or swing through for a bit—we’ll be there either way.

Free and open to all Columbia alumni, incoming students, the US Alumni Club, and friends.

Where to find us:
We'll be in the west side of the event area near the AmEx Experience, just south of The Rainbow Stage. As always, we’ll post our exact meeting spot on the day via our social channels:👉 https://linktr.ee/columbiaclublon

☔ In case of rain ⛈️
Should the weather turn (we haven’t forgotten the thunderstorms a few years ago! ⚡), the rain date will be the following day, Thursday, July 10th 🌦️. Please check your email and our social media for any updates or last-minute changes.
