In other exciting news, we eagerly anticipate the start of Baroness Minouche Shafik's tenure as the 20th president of Columbia University, beginning on July 1st. It's a bittersweet moment as we bid farewell to President Bollinger, but his remarkable contributions and unwavering support will always be cherished. Let's not forget, he played a key role in founding the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) in 2005 (he's also a Law School grad, class of 1971). His visits to London left a lasting impression, like the unforgettable event at the Tate Modern in 2017, where he engaged with Claire Shipman '86CC, '94SIPA, and the fantastic conversation with Dean Jelani Cobb at the Lanesborough last November. President Bollinger's legacy will continue to inspire us as we move forward.
We anticipate creating more memories together with President Shafik—London is a special place to be a Columbia alumni.
