June News and Upcoming Events

Did you know that the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) in London is the largest international chapter? We have over 4,000 members representing every school and include graduates from the past 5 decades. With so many members, and so many interests, we work to program something for everyone.

We’re only halfway through 2019 and we’ve already hosted a dozen events including a guest lecture from a Columbia Professor, a dinner, a film screening, a play, and our many happy hours. And we’re not done yet.

This month we’re planning an entrepreneurial event with Harvard. In July, members of CAA New Jersey will be in London and will be co-hosting an event with us in Hyde Park.

If you’re new to our city, or have lived here for ages, we hope to see you at an event soon. Come meet fellow alumni and share stories of your time in Morningside or your life here in Britain.

Annual Summer Solstice Happy Hour | Wednesday June 19th, 19:00

With the success of last year's Summer Solstice event at The O2, we’re heading back to the Greenwich Peninsula to do it again. We’ll start with drinks at All Bar One in O2 Arena, followed by an Emirates cable car ride over the Thames near sunset.

If you’ve not experienced the Open House at British Summer Time Hyde Park, you’ve been missing out. Some of the countless attractions include tennis screenings live from Wimbledon, street food stalls from all over the world, pop up bars serving draft & craft beer, wine & cocktails. And we’ll be co-hosting with CAA New Jersey who’s members will be in London for the week.
