While we keep double-checking the calendar to confirm that it's indeed July, the cool weather seems to be playing tricks on our summer plans (it even rained out our first attempt of the Hyde Park happy hour!). However, on the bright side, we're grateful to be spared from the extreme heat sweeping through southern Europe and the US.
August is just around the corner, and we've got not one, but two exciting events lined up!
First up, we have the honor of presenting a very special performance by none other than Tom Kitt, CC'96. With an impressive collection of awards, including the prestigious Tony®, Grammy, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize, Tom is all set to make his highly anticipated London concert debut. But come early (6pm) for a private "talkback" session with him, where he'll unveil the secrets behind his creative process.
Next on our agenda is a fantastic send-off for the incoming undergrad and grad students heading to the Big Apple to embark on their academic journey. Join us near Waterloo Station at Passyunk Ave. and share your valuable insights and wisdom with these soon-to-be New Yorkers.
