This Tuesday, 29th of October, Jodi Kantor CC'96—a Pulitzer-prize winning journalist and New York Times correspondent—along with Megan Twohey will discuss how they broke the story of Harvey Weinstein's sexual abuse in 2017. Exclusive to CUCL members, Kantor and Twohey will host a 30-minute meet and greet before the wider event.

On October 5th 2017, The New York Times published a story that helped set off a change in the relationship between men and women in the workplace and beyond.

The piece, by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters Jodi Kantor CC'96 and Megan Twohey, broke the story of the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct allegations. Within days, women were coming forward with their own stories of harassment and abuse, igniting the global #MeToo movement.

Tickets include access to the exclusive meet and greet, plus a copy of Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’s book She Said.

This event is organised in collaboration with MIT and will start off with some words by the Founders Factory followed by entrepreneurs speaking about what it means to go from corporate to starting a business, startup growth, and pros & cons of various funding options.


Shelley von Strunckel, Astrology expert and New Era thinker | November 12 @ 18:30

On November 12th at the Royal Institution join The Seven College Conference of London's annual autumn event with guest speaker Shelley von Strunckel, best known for her intelligent columns on astrology and New Era thinking. Creator of the first ever astrological column in the London Sunday Times newspaper in 1992, she is regarded as the voice of reason in the often-confusing field of astrology and related topics, such as the power of the mind and spiritual matters.  Tickets are £30 (plus £2 service fee) and places are allocated on a first-come basis but must be reserved by 3rd November
