The CUCL and Brown University Club of the UK invite you to a festive Wine Tasting evening at the hip new wine shop and bar Drop Wine in Kensington

Thanksgiving is upon us, and although this can be a fun and stressful event in equal measure, there is always the promise of good food, shared around the table with friends and family. But what to drink with it?! Good Turkey, Pumpkin Pie and all the trimmings cry out for good wines to go with them!

We'll be tasting our way through 5 wines. Some suggestions to pair perfectly with the classic dishes, others just little sharpeners to get you through the day. We'll try some European Classics, some not so Classic Europeans, and maybe even something off the beaten path from The States...

By the end of it, you should have learnt a new thing or two and maybe met a fellow wine enthusiast/alumni. Bad jokes included.

Dom Condon, Wine Expert/Owner Drop Kensington

Born and raised in West London, Dom has worked in the wine industry ever since finishing university. He's gained a wealth of experience both in the UK and overseas working in bars, restaurants, shops and even (whisper it) an office job! He has helped bring in the harvests in New Zealand, Tuscany and Provence and has followed up his practical experience with the WSET Diploma. Dom loves aged Côte-Rôtie, Greek wines and the occasional glass of Rosé Champagne.
