The CUCL does not charge membership dues because of the significant time and effort required to manage differentiated event pricing and booking dates. Our currrent policy is to charge a small fee (£1/£2) per event to build our reserves and to pay for admin and infrastructure costs. These include payment platforms, reservation deposits, social media advertising, and admin/finance/banking software and transaction costs.
So joining our amazing London Columbia Community is free, but we do need some financial support, so please consider donating £5 or more to the Club here, or as an additional donation when buying event tickets.
