The Columbia University Club of London (CUCL) has a superb track record in serving the Greater London community as part of CCO. In past years, the CUCL has completed garden maintenance for The Rose Bowl Youth Centre in Islington, cleaned up the riverbank in Richmond for the Environment Trust and helped develop a membership and donor strategy for the London Library.
This year the CUCL is looking for volunteers to help host the Cally Festival, a community festival on Caledonian Road in north London on Sunday, 14 June. 2015.
Please find more information on the Cally Festival http://thecallyfestival.com
We are specifically looking for volunteers to serve as stewards on the day (4 hour slots) and to help run a stall in partnership with Age UK Islington and Here To Islington. If you are a keen photographer or blogger, we are also looking for individuals to photograph or video the event or write a blog about the day.
If you would like to help on the day with other Columbia alumni and local community volunteers, please RSVP and further details will follow closer to the day. If you have any questions or would like to indicate how you can help on the day, please do get in touch via our club email.
