January News and Upcoming Events

Happy New Year. We hope this finds you well after a celebratory holiday season.

Amongst what has already become an eventful start to 2021, our first newsletter of the year is sent with a sense of hope and responsibility. As the Columbia Alumni Association representatives in the United Kingdom, our goal is to provide a community for Columbia graduates and students across Britain, and a conduit to other alumni around the world.

In the middle of our third national lockdown, we are all eager to connect in person. But for now, we’re relegated to online virtual events. Thanks to those members who have shared feedback with us on our 2020 events so we may program events for 2021.

To begin, on Wednesday we’re hosting an event on mindfulness to reduce stress and improve focus led by Rajiah Leong ('02BC, '12SPS). Details below.

At the end of the month, we’re replaying our popular quiz for Young Alumni (and current UK based students). Grab a beer and join others online to play a spirited game of trivia.

And stay tuned for details on the virtual campus tour happening in March.

As always, if you need to reach us, you can email us at [email protected] if you need anything.
