May News and Upcoming Events

April seemed to zip by but it was nonetheless a memorable month. On April 11th, the room at the Oxford and Cambridge Club was at capacity as we hosted Donna MacPhee '89CC with special guest Xavier Rolet KBE ‘84BUS. It was a stimulating conversation ranging on everything from the current state of the global economy to quantum computing and the impact future technology will have on the workforce.

If you missed it not to worry, we’ve got even more planned for May and onward.

Making her international playwriting debut, Anchuli Felicia King’s (SoA ‘18) White Pearl is premiering at the Royal Court the month. It is masterfully directed by director Nana Daki (SoA ‘18) and our members are invited to a Q&A before the show—see below for details.

We’ve set all the details for our trip to Scotland for an exclusive look at the new V&A Museum in Dundee, led by our own Maurizio Mucciola (GSAPP ‘07). After the tour, we'll be breaking bread and enjoying a meal with our Edinburgh alumni at The Doric.

And once again our reputation is on the line as we participate in the annual US Alumni Club quiz night on June 6th. We’ve had great success the last few years, and hope to break the streak of almost winning, and taking the top prize this year. Spots are limited to be sure to register below!

Stay tuned for more summer activities including a tour of World War II history marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Keep and eye on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for more updates and the latest information on all our activities.

Do reach out at [email protected] if you need anything.
